And Frist Museum lovers can travel to nearby Nashville and go to the Frist for free!

"Enjoy FREE Admission as part of Art Museum Day
Friday, May 18

The Frist Center is pleased to offer free admission this Friday as part of the Association of Art Museum Directors’ (AAMD) Art Museum Day coinciding with International Museum Day, also on May 18.

In 2011, the Frist Center—along with more than 100 other AAMD member museums across North America—participated in International Museum Day. The theme of this year’s International Museum Day, “Museums in a Changing World: New Challenges, New Inspirations,” invites museums and their visitors to ponder the role of museums in our culture of new media and social responsibility. In keeping with this theme, the Frist Center will encourage visitors to share their museum experiences during Art Museum Day via social media with the hashtag #ArtMuseumDay in a collective public response."

Also, on the 19th, the Frist offers free admission to  past and present service members and their families. Find out more at their website calendar.

All for now,
