Girl Scout Betsy, The Makery, and Beech Bend Park. What is new in YOUR life?

Looking for BG, KY events? Go here to the Events Page. It has lots of links you can check for things going on in town.

My new blog is here: Girl Scout Betsy. (I am talking about Camp Memories this week)

The garden (my Garden Spot) is still on its way to being planted.

Other news: The Makery, a new artistic inspirational studio and shop, is opening this week. I heard about it today. Their website is here: http://www.themakerybgky.com.

They have all kinds of instruction classes.

I can't wait to visit there. They are located at 422 1/2 Main Street, down the windy path on Main street. Their phone number is 270-991-6475.

Someone went to Beech Bend last week and had a lot of fun. They talked about it on Facebook. Beech Bend is an amusement park and water park. It also has a racetrack. Find out more about Beech Bend here.

Now is the season for a lights field trip!

Driving home from downtown, I have already seen many lights up.

This time of year, a really fun thing to do is a Christmas lights field trip. You can bring a freind, a spouse, your Mom, or more than one other person.

Drive around and enjoy the beautiful holiday lights all around Bowling Green. It's a relaxing and wonderful (and pretty cheap!) way to spend part of an evening.

You can also enjoy lights and lit-up rides at Beech Bend, too.
