Events in the Bowling Green, Kentucky Area Mon. - Wed., July 30 - August 1st

Here are selected events for today (Monday July 30th) through Wednesday, August 1st.

 Monday, July 30th
 Chaney's Dairy Barn has farm tours today. Check out this info. from their website:
..."11am & 1pm, we offer Family Farm Tours for individuals & families. $7/person - includes scoop of ice cream. Must be booked in advance. (270) 843-5567."

There is a Job Fair today at the BG Ballpark from 11 - 3:30.

There is a Summer Stroll on Loop and Skyline Village today from 7-8 p.m.


From the WCVK Community Happenings Page: "7/30/12 Upward Flag Football and Cheerleading Sign-Ups and Evaluation will be July 30th 2012 at the Warren Association of Baptist Fields on Scottsville Road, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Sign-ups, uniform fitting, and evaluations will take place. For more information please call: Janet at 270-842-1019."

Tuesday, July 31st
The Graham Drive Community branch library has a Mac Lab today from 3-5 for all ages. Call for more info. and computer availability: 781-1441.

The Bob Kirby branch library has a free class today, Exploring South Central Kentucky Outdoors, at 6 p.m. Call to find out more: 782-0252

The Main branch library has a free computer class, Learn to Download eBooks and audiobooks, at 6-7 p.m. You must pre-register to attend. Call 781-4882.

Our Hot Rods baseball team plays tonight at 7 p.m. It is All You Can Eat Tuesday. 901-2121, http://www.bghotrods.com.

Saturday, June 16th
The Presbyterian Church (downtown) is having a fundraiser for Habitat from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Find out more: http://www.tpcfundraiser.com/.

The Historic RailPark and Train Museum has RailTales today for preschoolers at 10 a.m.

The Salvation Army Community Room is the site for a Scrapbook Luau today from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost is only $5.00. Find out more and what to bring by calling: 270-843-3485.

Chaney's Dairy Barn has Ice Cream and a Moovie tonight. Watch a movie outside. No food or beverages please. The movie starts at dusk.

The Russell Sims Aquatic Center has a Night of the Pirate event from 7-9 p.m. that includes water fun and games. The price is $6.00 for ages 6 and up, and ags 5 and under $3.00. You can save money on your tickets at the Coupon Mint site. Go to this website to find out more.

Sunday, June 17th

Monday, June 18th
The District 6 4-H Horse Show is today starting at 8-8:30 a.m. They are showing miniature horses today. This event goes through June 21st. Find out more: http://ces.ca.uky.edu/warren/district6horse. Contact Janet Turely at 842-1681 or jturley@uky.edu for more information.

The Parker-Bennett Center has a Puppet Theater show at 10 a.m. at the Parker-Bennett Center presented by the Warren County library. 781-1441.

A free computer class is today at 10-11 a.m. at the Main branch library, "Learn to download eBooks and Audiobooks". You must pre-register to attend. Call 781-1441.

The Doug Berky Puppets have a show at the Main branch library today at 6 p.m. 781-4882.
