Here are some fun events in and around Bowling Green, Kentucky for August.
Note: they are not all free.
I will be adding more (later events) this week too.
Please be sure to check every event before attending, just in case.

Wednesday August 18
Wednesday, August 18 -BG Neighborhood Sewing Group. 10 .m. - 12 noon. Bring your sewing machine, scissors, hread and some material to make Christmas gift items. All skill levels welcome. From the Riverview at Hobson Grove site on Facebook:"Riverview at Hobson Grove is pleased to present the program "Nature's Bounty in Textiles" on Tuesday, August 24th at 11:30am. Sandy Staebell, the Registrar and Collections Curator at the WKU Kentucky Museum, will discuss how plants and animals interpret the glory of nature as design elements and pattern names in many historic textiles. Attendees have the opportunity to bring their own quilts and coverlets with natural themes to display and discuss afterwards. For further information, please call Riverview at 843-5565. $15 each.
