From the Garden Spot... Flying with FlyLady, and Blogging

Today, as I explained on my other blog, The Moon and the Willow Tree, I told myself to get ALL my blogs done.

A scary Busy Bee from Clker.com

This is my second-to-last blog to complete today. The last one is a Club blog, for the local BGAMUG Computer Club. I will be posting about the date of the next meeting, and how the Auction went. Also I will be talking about my taking a year off from Webmaster duties vs. retiring (I'm NOT retiring...)

So... I thought I would share the FlyLady link again. Between "flying" and delayed maintenance here (plus organization) I am very busy. Add that to finishing books and projects and trainings. But getting things done requires MAKING time.

So this morning I am making time for these blogs, updating all, and then getting busy with other semi-fun projects and fun ones.

Here in Bowling Green, Kentucky the weather is really good. There was fog this morning, but hopefully this will burn off this afternoon.

How are things in your neck of the woods? Good, I hope.

Getting geared up for learning.... Secrets of Happy Families book, 350.org activists on NPR

Rickey said it was like a beautiful Fall day outside today. Fall... already? Really?

It's been a longish summer, and sometimes very hot here in Kentucky.

The park downtown is lush and the flowers are still hanging in their containers. Somebody decided today was an "event" and played loud music in the park through the speakers. Sometimes I think people leave them on by mistake.

Today Bruce Filer was on NPR so I listened on the way downtown. http://www.npr.org/2013/02/17/171929472/control-the-chaos-with-secrets-of-happy-families

I liked it.

Before that, there was a show on about 350.org, the new climate change group doing great things. The group bears watching and even helping.

What's up with you, wonderful readers?

Updating, planning the new website, Nashville doctor visit, more

As soon as I finish all my blogs today, I'm getting ready for my new website.
Brain Gears - from the free Clikr website.

Planning happens first. The new website is going to be called The Outdoor Journey. Check back later for more details, or join the Yahoo Outdoor Journey Group below. This is a group writing fun Outdoor Journeys for Girl Scout troops and talking about camping too.

We have the radio on today, and it's fun to hear new music. WKU's Barren River Breakdown has been on, and has been playing many great songs. It's a relaxing day, and I hope it is for you, too.

Looking for Bowling Green, Kentucky events? Just click here on My Events Calendar (also located above)  to see those. I have made a special page here so you can check dates and things to do.  I know, I used to list them, but now I have some more projects, so something had to give.

Pick up a copy of SoKy Happenings too, they have LOTS of things listed for every day.

We've been in Nashville getting Rickey's eye operated on. It all went well. And luckily, his doctor also has an office here in town, so we don't have to go to Nashville again to get it checked on.

Next: updating my calendar, which is full of neat stuff and projects.

What is new with you? Leave a comment. And check the links below for more postings and info.
