This blog features free and cheap stuff to do in the area - some are free, some are just fun, cool, or neat.

Also is Morgantown is  the Haunted Asylum, behind the Butler County Banner on Courthouse Square, open 7-11 p.m. This haunted house attraction gives 100% of its proceeds to Shriner's Hospitals. "Sponsored by the MAMMOTH CAVE REGIONAL HORSE COUNCIL, The Mane Event is an exciting horse event to be held at the Western Kentucky University Ag Center in Bowling Green on OCTOBER 16th, starting at 9:00 AM.  The first Mane Event was held in 2009, and attracted over 400 people! This is a unique event in South Central Kentucky, and offers not just horse owners but also the general public an opportunity to learn and be entertained by horse-oriented programs and acts.

Outdoor Movie Night is tonight at 6-9 p.m. in the Nutwood area by T.C. Cherry school.  It is part of the Celebrate Safe Communities program. See this website for more information.
The Lifeskills Run for Autism is today. It will start and finish at the Bowling Green Ballpark. They will have a 4 mile run, a 4 mile wheelchair race, and a 1 mile walk.
