Monday April 26 (today) 

Bright's Antique World 8 Year Anniversary Celebration, 9-8. This place is definitely worth a trip. They have a lot of fun stuff - it's a fascinating antique store with many different booths - and a nice bathroom. Bright's Antique World is located at 281 Steele Road in Franklin. There is a huge sign for it right off I-65 on the way to Nashville. Their site: http://www.brightsantiqueworld.com/
They will have special sales, gift certificates, and more.

Tuesday, April 27 
Limber for Life exercise class 9-10 a.m. The Medical Center Health and Wellness Center at Greenwood Mall. Their site: http://www.mcbg.org/healthandwellnesscenter/

Description:This class for men and women of all ages offers a low-impact aerobic workout with a focus on flexibility, relaxation and strength. There is a $5 charge for participants who are not members of the Senior Health Network, The Women's Center, or Men's Health Alliance. Limited to 20 participants; bring 3- to 5-pound hand weights and wear lightweight, comfortable clothing."

TOPSoccer - Lovers Lane Soccer Complex 5:30 p.m. This soccer team has a "buddy" for each participant. This soccer team is for soccer players ages 5 through high school who have a mental or physical disability. Saturday, October 24th


Both Farmers Markets are open today.

Jackson's Orchard is having its Pumpkin Festival today.

Fountain Square has a Street Fair-Marketplace today from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. Games and admissions are free. Donations of canned goods will be accepted for HOTEL Inc. Contact Robin Baldwin 746-2988. Daily News article - Standing Stone website.

WKU Suzanne Vitale Clinical Education Complex at 14th and Adams Street has a Family Fun Day today. Low-cost food, Inflatable games, activities, a petting zoo, and more will be available. 10:00 - 2:00. From the BG Daily News site:
"Opening ceremonies will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by planned segments every half hour until 2:00 p.m.  Enjoy a festive, balloon-filled atmosphere complete with information tables showcasing area services, low-cost food, inflatable games, face painting, door prizes, a petting zoo, car seat safety inspections, entertainment, and lots more.  This event is free and all are welcome." Preston Miller Park has WBKO/BGPR Free Halloween Fest today. Trick or Treat booths - Souvenir pictures, wear costumes. 393-3484. From the BGKY site:
"This event will turn the Preston Miller Walking Trail into a Halloween Party complete with trick-or-treat booths, food, souvenir pictures, and face painting. Costumes are highly encouraged! Food prices will vary per vendor.

Capital Arts Youth Theater presents The Crucible tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the Capital Arts Center. 782-2787.

The Public Theater of Kentucky is presenting American Hauntings tonight at 8:00 with a series of one-act plays, A Rose for Emily, The Tell-Tale Heart (a classic), and The Lottery (ditto). 781-6233.
