Here is the new weekly "what's happening" update for the Betsyanne Events blog page.

I can only get a fraction of the events and things to do this week listed here.

So, to find more events, check out the links to the right here on the blog or get a Soky Happenings magazine at Barnes and Noble or another location.

A new shop, Tea Squares, is on Fountain Square! Here is an article about them. Go by to check them out this week for their Grand Opening events, and tell Theresa Betsy sent you. :-)
Both Jackson's Orchard and Chaney's Dairy Barn have events this month.
Jackson's Orchard has their Pumpkin Festival weekends this month. From their site:
2011 Pumpkin Festival - 5 Fall Weekends
"Beginning Saturday, September 24 & Sunday, September 25 then every weekend through the end of October. Oct 1 & 2, Oct 8 & 9, Oct 15 & 16 and Oct 22 & 23. The month of October brings lots of excitement to the Orchard. With Halloween approaching, the color is Orange! You’ll find family fun every weekend for the five weekends before Halloween. That means Wagon Rides to the Pumpkin Patch, Pick-Your-Own Pumpkins, The Corn Maze, Petting Zoo, Pony Rides, Straw Castle, Face Painting, The Goat Ranch, and The Cider Slider, our Children’s Slide. Not to mention all the Great Food including the Jackson's Orchard Hot Dog Cart! Did we mention Caramel Apples?"
Chaney's has Hayrides to the Pumpkin Patch every weekend in October for $1.00 per person. Their Corn Maze is open until the 31st, along with their Educational Farm Tours. Go to the site to learn more or call 843-5567.
Make sure to double-check each event by calling them before you go, just in case.
