The Main Library is closed through the 17th due to renovations. The other branches are open.

Sunday, August 7th
The Russell Sims Aquatic Park is having a Sunny Day Pool Party today sponsored by WKYU-PBS from 1-5. 745-2202.

Parents skate free with a child's admission today from 2-5 at the Skatebox.

Monday, August 8th
Kirby Kids (for elementary school ages) meet today at 3:30 at the Bob Kirby Branch library.

SKyPAC is having a Hard Hat Tour today at 4 p.m. They also have another on Thursday. You must pre-register to attend. Call 393-0080.

The Sunny 16 Camera Club meets today (the second Tuesday) at the Presbyterian Church's Fellowship Hall downtown at 10th at State Streets.

Warren County Youth Football signups are today from 6-8 pm. at Phil Moore Park. 843-6665.

The Red Cross has a class on Shelter Operations and Simulation from 6-9 at 430 Center Street. 781-7377. You must pre-register to attend.

Wednesday, August 10th

SKyPAC is having a Hard Hat Tour today at 4 p.m. You must pre-register to attend. Call 393-0080.

The WKU Chess Club meets from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Log Cabin on the WKU Campus. All ages and skill levels are welcome.  Questions, call 918-809-6278. You may want to bring your chess set.

The Fraternal Order of Police sponsors Ballroom Dance Lessons at 150 Corvette Drive at 7 - 8 p.m. The cost is  $7.00 per person. 782-5425.

The BG League of Bicyclists have an easy ride of 1 1/2 hour (mostly through residential areas) starting at Keriakes Park  at 6 p.m. You must wear a helmet.

Friday, August 12th
The Bowling Green Gallery Hop is today from 5-8 p.m. Make sure to visit the Pots Place at 528 East Main street on the square. They will have special treats there for visitors donated by Mariah's. This is the Second Saturday Street Fair downtown in beautiful Fountain Square. Come downtown and visit all the shops and relax in the Square.
