Bowling Green Happenings Version 4D October 2010

Friday, October 22nd
This is the second day of The Lost River Cave Civil War: Living History Days at Lost River Cave. This is a free event. Make sure to bring earplugs if you go when they will be firing a cannon. Just saying. They have many great photo opportunities there. Here is a photo from a Civil War Dresses booth I saw there in 2008: Civil War Dresses for Sale.
Hobson Grove has JACK-O-LANTERN JUBILEE today. (From their email): "

Riverview at Hobson Grove is pleased to present Jack-o-Lantern Jubilee on Saturday, October 23rd from 12 noon to 2 pm.  Children will be able to create pumpkins and other fall crafts with paper.  For further information, please call Riverview at 843-5565.  $10 each.  Reservations are required.  Riverview is located at 1100 West Main Avenue in Bowling Green's Hobson Grove Park.  Please keep in contact with upcoming events by adding us to your Address Book and by clicking the "Like" button of our Facebook page."

From the Warren County library Activities and Programs page: "Singer/Actor Rick Springfield will be at the Main Library Saturday, October 23 at 8 p.m. signing copies of his new book Late, Late at Night: a Memoir. Free tickets are available beginning October 1 at all WCPL locations. Books will be available for purchase at the event. Books only will be signed. No memorabilia will be signed. Doors open at 6 p.m. Arrive early to reserve a numbered place in line. Click here for more information."

The WKU Volleyball "Dig 4 Pink" event is at 7 tonight. Donations will be accepted for the James Brown Cancer Center. E.A. Diddle Arena, WKU. 745-6048.

December 11th and 18th: Chaney's Dairy Barn is having a Breakfast with Santa event from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. both days. It is a reservation-only event. You can call to reserve a spot starting on November 1st. (From the website: "Reservations will guarantee a seat, but not where you will sit").
 Important: always check each event before going to it in case of a typo or a correction is needed.
