Tuesday a.m. October 6th- both Farmer's Markets are open.

11-1 The Big Read Book Giveaway at Bowling Green Community College (WKU South Campus) 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Free Great Gatsby books will be given away today. Call 745-5016 for more info.

The Skate Box roller skating rink offers $2 skating today from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. 843-3394

The WKU Planetarium offers Earth's Moon a FREE planetarium show at 7:00 at Hardin Planetarium on WKU's campus. 745-4044.

A Yard Sale with toys, kids' clothing, on Memphis Junction FYI
























































































Here is a yard sale I passed on the way home today. They didn't have everything out yet. I saw a cute train set and noticed LOTS and LOTS of action figures plus a microwave.


It has LOTS of kid's toys and clothes, priced to sell.

Just go to 646 Memphis Junction Road. This sale will be all week through Sunday.

The Wall that Heals will be here until Sunday
















THE WALL THAT HEALS

Aviation Heritage Park (in the Three Springs area) will host the Wall that Heals, a smaller version of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, this weekend, all weekend, 24 hours a day.

The BG Daily News article says that volunteers will be able to make a printout of a requested veteran's information and history.
