Where Bowling Green homeless people and those without big families find Thanksgiving dinners in Bowling Green, Kentucky?

I went online to find who was offering free Thanksgiving dinners to those who needed them.

There are the usual places I think of when I think about meals for the needy. One is the Salvation Army. They have a soup kitchen with room for 125. They have meals from Monday to Friday, 11:30 - 12:00.

Hotel, Inc. helps people find food too.  Their outreach food program is called Manna Mart, and is open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. (3 meals for 3 days).

I also found some places that are offering real Thanksgiving dinners to the public for free.

TCMNet had an announcement about three community Thanksgiving dinners. This information is from the Daily News. One is to be held at State Street United Methodist Church, 1101 State Street, between 10:30 a.m and 1 p.m.

Another will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, located at 175 Graham Avenue, 11:30 - 1:00 p.m.

On Saturday, First General Baptist church at 311 West 10th street, will hold a Thanksgiving meal starting at 11:00 a.m. and continuing until the food has run out.

For Russellville and Logan County: (from the TMCnet site):
"Impact International Ministries is also sponsoring an outreach this year for shut-ins or anyone in need in the Logan County area through Project Change: Meals of Thanksgiving. To refer someone to the service or to volunteer for cooking, preparing or delivering Thanksgiving meals, call 847-8278.

First Presbyterian Church in Russellville will hold its 12th annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner from 1 to 3 p.m. Nov. 26. For more information on that event, call 726-6207."

Please add your additional resources, if you have them, at the end of this article as comments. Thank you!
