BENEFIT ROLLER SKATING PARTY!

You can honor Kayli Upton's memory and help out her family by attending the Roller Skating Party this Thursday, Sept. 24th.


Where: The Skate Box on Three Springs Road.
When: 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Cost: $4.00 plus a $1.00 skate rental fee.

All of the admission price is going to Kayli's family.

This event is sponsored by the Skate Box and the Vette City Vixens.

A Gourd Painting Workshop will be offered Oct. 3 at Ky. Museum

I got this via email today from the Kentucky Museum.

" Gourd Painting Workshop

Kentucky Library and Museum
Saturday, October 3rd
10:00 - 12:00

Get ready for fall by painting a pumpkin gourd! All materials supplied!!!
Bring your mom, kids, or grandkids. Special family price for two!
Participants do have an option to paint a second gourd during this workshop. This option must be selected during registration.
Workshop fee:    $15. Each.  -  $25. Per couple.  -  $7. Each additional gourd

(I am not sure, but I think a pumpkin gourd is probably shaped like a pumpkin. So... just the round one in the gourd picture looks like the gourds that probably will be there...)

Free Chess Games and Friends!

(1) The public is invited to the WKU Chess Club meeting Monday Sept. 21, 6-9 p.m. All skills levels are welcome.
Bring your own chess set. The Faculty House (log cabin) behind Cherry Hall at WKU. 393-2071.

(2) Then there is the Warren County Chess Club 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. Tuesday Sept. 22 at the Play/Commons area of the BG Community College. Phone 780-2542. All are welcome to play.

"Our Liturgical Arts Festival continues in the sanctuary this evening (Thursday) at 7:30pm with a joint recital by organists Kevin Bailey, Frances Hall, Shirley Karrick, and Kent Stein, and soprano Nancy Cron.  

Already more than five hundred people have enjoyed this year's Festival!  

Don't be left out - join us this evening at 7:30pm for this outstanding program. 

As always, this recital is free and open to all."
