Tuesday, Jan 25
Songwriter's Evening at Chaney's Dairy Barn. 6-8:30 p.m. 843-5567, http://www.chaneysdairybarn.com.

A painting class by Alice Waddell will be held at 6 p.m. at the Graham Drive Branch Library. You must pre-register to attend.  Call 781-1441.

A Free MacBook class Ebay for Beginners, is today from 6-7 p.m. at the Bob Kirby Branch library. You must pre-register to attend. Call 782-0252.

Wednesday, Jan. 26
A Refuse to be a Victim class is from 9-1 today at the Health and Wellness Center at Greenwood Mall. It costs $20.00 to attend and you must pre-register by calling 745-0942. A safety handbook is included.

A free computer class, Exploring Gadgets, is held from 6-7 p.m. at the Main Branch Library's Porter Cafe. You must pre-register to attend and bring your own laptops and/or digital devices.

St. James United Methodist Church at 575 Winfield Drive is offering Community Education classes at 6:30 p.m. Call for more information at 842-4949. Here is information from their website: "Wednesday Night Discipleship will start Cycle #3 on January 12.  Class offerings for this third cycle include:  "Women in the Bible" led by Marilyn Roberson, "Money Matters" led by John Yonts, "Introduction to Crochet" led by Sharon McElroy & Clarissa Moore, and also classes for youth and kids."

A Free Computer class, Introduction to Microsoft Excel, is offered today at the Bob Kirby Branch Library. You must pre-register to attend. Call 782-0252.

Friday, Jan. 28
The 16th Annual Prism Concert is today at WKU's Van Meter Auditorium. This is a concert by the WKU Music Department and features many different ensembles. Tickets are $10.00 for general admission and $5.00 for students and seniors. Find out more here: WKU news story.

A free computer class, Computing for Seniors, is held today from 10-11 a.m. at the Main Branch Library's Porter Cafe. You must pre-register to attend. Call 781-4882.

The Historic Railpark and Train Museum is the site of the Elaine Walker Celebration today from 6-8 p.m. for her new position as Secretary of State for Kentucky. 745-7317.
