NEW - from the Capitol Arts Second Stage
Facebook page: Bat Boy auditions from 7-10 pm in the Pushin Building at the
corner of Main St. & College. Come release the beast inside! Find out more here on the Notes Page. Here is part of the play description: "Next Stage’s first production will be Bat Boy: The Musical by
Keythe Farley, Brian Flemming & Laurence O’Keefe. The show will be
directed by Carol Jordan, musical directed by Stephen Tabor, and
choreographed by Ashley Gentry. This hilarious horror show, based on
the Weekly World News character Bat Boy, is set in the cave country of
West Virginia and tells the story of the misfit blood-sucking bat child
as he struggles to be accepted by the human world. Part Little Shop, part Rocky Horror, part Edward Scissorhands, and part something uniquely and weirdly its own, Bat Boy
will premier Halloween weekend on the Capitol stage. In general,
rehearsals will be M-F from 7:30-10:00 PM. Tech week will be Oct. 24-27
(specific times TBA) with performances the evenings of Fri., Oct. 28
