Flower wheelbarrow from Clckr.com |
Yesterday I did some long-overdue work at the Garden Spot. To have a great garden, I must get the weeds and trees back in shape, along with the yard and planting areas.
I am thinking of using the wood (there's a lot) for boundaries or Kugel mounds, or even natural fencing.
We'll see. I feel relaxed and good about working outside. I can actually see what has been done, and that's a great motivator.
I get to see a week of produce from Need More Acres this afternoon - - which sounds fun. Need More Acres has a CSA program with a LONG waiting list. I am on it, which is good, but there are a lot of other people on it too. Maybe that's why they NEED more acres. But I read somewhere that growing too fast can be bad, so maybe they are doing things right.
Here is their link in case you want to find out more about them:

Oh big news! I actually saw a small FROG out there yesterday. That says something good, I think. It's the first time I have ever seen one in the yard.
