Thursday, July 19th
This weekend is the National Corvette Homecoming weekend, starting today at 8 a.m. at the Sloan Convention Center. Find out more: http://corvettehomecoming.com/.
A free computer class is today from 9-11 a.m. at the Main branch library, "Introduction to Genealogy Resources". You must pre-register to attend. Call 781-4882.
An Heirloom Tomato Fest is today at 5 p.m. at 261 Moats Lane. Find out more from the WBKO article: Tomato Fest 2012.
The WKU Chess Club meets at 6 p.m. at the WKU Faculty House. 918-809-6278.









Friday, July 20th

The Parker-Bennett Community Center has Bike Safety Day today from 10-2. Find out more: 393-3310.
A free computer class is today, Downloading Ebooks and Audio Books, from 10-11 a.m. at the Smiths Grove Branch library. You must pre-register to attend. Call 563-6651.
The AARP meets today from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at First Christian Church at 1106 State Street. Today is an ice cream social. Find out more: 782-0712.
CANCELLED - - Concerts in the Park is tonight from 6-10 p.m. in both Fountain Square and Circus Square. Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy good music. Find out more: 782-0222 or here on the BG Area Convention & Visitors Bureau site. Disregard the title - it is at BOTH parks.  - - CANCELLED


Attn: Concerts in the Park has been cancelled today because of the recent storm. From the email I got:
"The Downtown Redevelopment Authority wants to apologize for the cancellation of this Friday’s concerts and will pick back up next Friday, July 27."

Saturday, July 21st
Art Matters, at 718 State Street, has an Anime Art and Cosplay Workshop today for ages 12 and up. Call 781-0361 for details.
Lifehouse Church has a yard sale today that starts at 7 a.m. They are by Crossroads IGA at 7604 Russellville Road. 991-2977.

Sunday, July 22nd
The Southern Kentucky Fair starts today. 842-7980  http://www.sokyfair.org. (They have a Beauty Contest to start out the Fair, but the rides start tomorrow.) This is from their site: "Monday, July 23rd - Rides on the Midway Open at 6pm!"
