For those who haven't seen it yet, SOKY happenings is an oversize, colorful magazine reference guide to activities that is available in Bowling Green.

1. Friday August 14th there is a Street Dance with Live Music at Circus Square Park. Find out more at http://www.duncanhinesfestival.com.

3. Appraisal Day is being held at the Kentucky Library and Museum on Saturday, August 16. Appraisers will "discuss and appraise items." See http://www.wku.edu/Library/kylm/events/appraisal.html.
4. Also on Saturday Aug. 16 is the Back to School Bash at St. James United Methodist Church at 575 Winfield Drive from 2-5 p.m. They will have FREE food, games, medals, and giveaways with an Olympic theme. (Their # is 842-4949 if you have questions).
5. The Festival of Sand Community Day is Saturday August 23rd at Russell Sims Aquatic Park, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can see all the prize-winning sand sculptures this day for free. Their website is here.
