I moved this events calendar back here today. I think it's a good idea. 

This weekend is the Amateur Disc Golf Championships (30 - 1st), the Total Fitness Connection Run and Walk for Children (30-31), the 2012 Black Diamond Blues and Tattoo Convention at the Sloan Convention Center (30-April 1), the South Warren Girls Fastpitch Tournament (31 - April 1) and the 2012 Nanotechnology Symposiun at the Nicely Center 745-6682 (30-31). Tuesday, March 27th
The Historic Railpark and Train Museum has Rail Tales today for pre-schoolers from 10:15 - 10:45 a.m. Find out more: 745-7317.

The Main Branch library has free computer class, Computing for Seniors, from 6-7 p.m. You must pre-register to attend. Call 781-4882.

WKU has a free concert tonight at 7:30 p.m. featuring Dr. Michael Kalistrom at the WKU Choral Hall, "The Electronic Vocalist". 745-4751.
Wednesday, March 28th
A free computer class is today from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Main branch library, Introduction to Genealogy Resources. You must pre-register to attend. Call 781-4882.

Thursday, March 29th
The WKU Chess Club meets today at the Log Cabin on the WKU Campus from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. All ages and skill levels are welcome.  Questions, call 918-809-6278. You may want to bring your chess set.

Opry Mills in Nashville re-opens today at 10 a.m. 615-514-1000.

Another free computer class, MS Excel Advanced, is today from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Main Branch library. You must pre-register to attend. Call 781-4882.

Fountain Square Players presents Agatha Christie's Murder on the Nile at the Phoenix Theater at 8 p.m. Tickets are $12, $10, and $8. 782-3119.
Friday, March 30th
The Knights of Columbus have a fish fry from 5-7 at 911 Searcy Way (the K of C hall). 782-6488. Tickets are $7.00 for adults and $3.00 for children.
Fountain Square Players presents Agatha Christie's Murder on the Nile at the Phoenix Theater at 8 p.m. Tickets are $12, $10, and $8. 782-3119.

The Redshirts and Treblemakers are singing at the First Christian Church at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $2.00 per person. 745-3751.

Saturday, March 31st

Quilters (Saturday Stitchers) learn about Free Motion Quilting 10:30 - 12:30 p.m. at the Sewing Center, 1575 Campbell Lane today. 842-2434.  Fee is $35.00.

There is also a free Easter Egg Hunt at Riverview today from 10 a.m. to noon. 843-5565.

Bring an Easter basket!  Riverview at Hobson Grove is pleased to continue the age-old tradition of the Easter Egg Hunt, on Saturday, March 31st at 10:00 a.m. on the grounds of the historic house museum.  The lawn will be laden with hundreds of filled eggs just waiting for eager children through the second grade to find them.  The event is free and open to the public.   For further information, please call Riverview at 843-5565.  Riverview is located at 1100 West Main Avenue in Bowling Green's Hobson Grove Park. The ALIVE Center hosts Indian Culture and Heritage Classes today. First is a Math and Science Class (9-10 a.m.) an Indian Culture and Heritage Class (10-11 a.m.), and a Hindi and Telegu Language Class (11 a.m. – 12 p.m.) Call for more info: 270-746-9508 or 502-544-7221.

The Pots Place is open Tuesday - Saturday from 11-3. Find pottery and unique gifts, including Fairy Doors, trays, Nut Heads, pitchers, mugs, plates, vases, and lots more. There are many other original stores downtown. Come visit all the stores there for fabulous sales and fun.
