Dig into Reading for the Public Library Summer Reading Program
I remember my daughter always liked being in the Summer Reading Program that the local public library does. I liked it too!
Tomorrow is the big kickoff at Lost River Cave. The dates for this year's program are June 6 - July 26.
The library has a Rain Plan posted on their Facebook page today.
Here is what they said:
"Here is the "rain plan" for tomorrow's kick-off at Lost River Cave
(6/6/13): If it's raining in the morning, the kick-off will still be a
"go" at 10 a.m. Gather in the outdoor
playground area to get started, and we'll tell you where to go from
there. We will only cancel the kickoff if there is a torrential
downpour with lightning. Regardless of the weather, whoever braves the
elements to come register for Summer Reading will receive info about the
library's program, the cave's programs, and a kids' cave pass to use
later (free with paying adult)."
