Concerts in the Park 09!This year the concerts are split between the original venue, Fountain Square Park, and the newbie, Circus Square. They have different times, too.
Here is the schedule:
Wed. Noon Concerts: June 3, 10, 17, 24 at Fountain Square Park, Noon – 1 p.m.
Friday Evening Concerts:
6:30 – 9:00 p.m. Fountain Square Park July 10, 17, 24, 31, Aug. 7
7:30 – 10:00 p.m. Circus Square (same dates)
I say, enjoy both locations! But my favorite is Fountain Square Park, mainly because I am used to it and the trees are bigger. These concerts are free. Bring a blanket or lawn chair. Food vendors and activities for children may also be there.
