November Happenings for the BG, KY area.
And from the SoKy Happenings site: "Holiday Greeting Cards 8:00AM - 5:00PM Will be available this Month for people to write messages for our troops-The cards will be sent overseas in late November/National Corvette Museum 781-7973."
Monday, November 8th
A Free Computer class called Intermediate Computers and the Internet is today at 6-7 p.m. at the BG Main Library. You must pre-register by calling 781-4882. 
A free concert at WKU Fine Arts Center (FAC) is tonight at 7:30 p.m.. It is the Quaternity in Recital Trombone Quartet. Call 745-3751 for more information.
Tuesday, November 9th
BG Parks and Rec. is having a PBCC Winter Trip, Skating and Golf today at the Parker Bennett Community Center. It is $10.00 per person. Find out more by calling 393-3249.
Also, PJ Tales is today at 6 p.m. at the BG Main Branch library. Families of all ages are invited. Call for info. 781-4882.
The Skatebox skate center in Bowling Green is havng a Canned Goods Skate today from 6-8 p.m. Bring a canned good and get in for only $1.00 per person. Call 843-3394 for more info.
A Percussion Ensemble Recital ($4.00 per ticket) is at WKU FAC tonight at 7:30 p.m. Call 745-3751 for more info.
Wednesday, November 10th
Warren Central HS at 559 Morgantown Road (BG C1/LT) is having a POW and MIA ceremony at 8:30 a.m. today. All veterans are invited.  Call 781-2401 extension 3317 for more info.
An after-school special for students of all ages is at 3:30 p.m. at the Graham Community Branch Library. Call 781-1441 for more info.
A free computer class, Facebook for Beginners, is being held at 6-7 p.m. at the BG Main Library. You must pre-register to attend. Call 781-4882.
A telescope viewing is being held tonight at 7 p.m. at the WKU Thompson Complex. Call 745-5940 for more info.
A free Guitar Ensemble Recital is tonight at 7:30 p.m. at WKU FAC. Call 745-3751.
Thursday, November 11th
Today is Veteran's Day.
Mammoth Cave has specials today for Veterans. Call 270-758-2180 for times and directions. 
A Christmas Village is being held at Bowling Green Country club today 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. benefiting Youth in the Arts. Many activities. Call 843-3875 for info.

WKU Chess club welcomes visitors 6-9 p.m. at the Faculty House behind Cherry Hall (the Log Cabin). Bring your own sets. Call 393-2071 for more info.
WKU Theater and Dance presents Macbeth at 8:00 at the Russell Miller Theater. Tickets cost $11.00 for adults and $9.00 for student.
Friday, November 12th
BG Parks and Rec has a Fall Pickle Ball today at 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the FO Moxley Community Center. Call 393-3249 to find out more.
Warren County Library, Bob Kirby Branch has a Free MacBook Computer Class today 2-3 p.m. Call to pre-register at 782-0252.

Sam Bush is in concert at the Capital Arts Center downtown. Tickets are $25.00 apiece.  Call 782-2787.

Saturday, November 13th
Rockfield UMC has a Holiday Bazaar today from 7 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Call for info. 535-9120 or 842-7788. 
St. James UMC at 575 Winfield Drive, BG,  has a Fall Craft Bazzar from 8 am. - 2 p.m. 
Christ UMC on Cave Mill Road has an Old-Fashioned Christmas Bazaar today too from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.
The Bluegrass Women's Expo and holiday show is today at the Carroll Knicely Center from 10 am. to 6 p.m. Adults are $10.00 and children 12 and under are free. Check this Expo Site for more information.
Santa arrives at the Greenwood Mall! Visits and photos are available today from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Dillard's Court.
Petco on Campbell Lane is having a Voice for Animals event today from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Raffle, Mr. Purroh, and Murphy will be there. Tickets are $3.00 each of 2 for $5.00. 
The Commonwealth Free Clinic Charity Ball is tonight at 6 p.m. at the Sloan Convention Center. Tickets are $15.00 per person. Check this site for information and time of events.
WKU Jazz Band is having a free concert tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the WKU Van Meter Auditorium. Guest Artist Chris Vandala.  Call 745-3751 for more info.

A Free Afternoon of Masterpieces concert is today at 3 p.m. featuring Sylvia Kersenbaum, piano and Lisa Kelly, vocal at Van Meter Auditorium.

December 11th and 18th: Chaney's Dairy Barn is having a Breakfast with Santa event from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. both days. It is a reservation-only event. You can call to reserve a spot starting on November 1st. (From the website: "Reservations will guarantee a seat, but not where you will sit").
November 13th will be the Old Fashioned Christmas Walk at the Christ United Methodist Church at 716 Cave Mill Road.
11-9, BGHS has their 11th annual International Night.
11-18 Hobson Grove will have a Gingerbread House Tea.
11-30, they will have a Christmas Card Workshop.
