This month through the 22nd is the FREE Trees of Christmas exhibit at the Eloise B. Houchens Center at 1115 Adams Street. Hours are: Monday - Friday 10 a.m. - 2 pm, Saturday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. 842-6761.

Thursday, Dec. 20th
The WKU Hardin Planetarium has a free show at 7 p.m., "Doomsday". Seating is first-come, first-served, and opens 15 minutes before the show.
Friday, Dec. 21st
Today is the Winter Solstice
Lost River Cave Wildflower Gift Shop has another Sip and Shop event from 11-3.
Public Theater of Kentucky is showing "The Last Waltz" live music show from 7:30 - 10:30 p.m.. Tickets are $15 for general admission. http://www.visitbgky.com/events/detail/the-last-waltz/
Faith UMC has a Live Nativity from 6-8.
Saturday, Dec. 22nd
Breakfast with Santa is at Chaney's today (you must be pre-registered) from 8-9:30.
State Street and 6th has a State Street Christmas Village from 10-4 with booths, games, and more. 782-0222.

Faith UMC at 380 Veterans Memorial is having a Live Nativity from 6-8 p.m.

Thursday, Dec. 27th
The WKU Chess Club meets today at 6 p.m. at the WKU Faculty House. This is open to the public. You may want to bring your chess set. Call for info: 1-918-809-6278.
Friday, Dec. 28th
There is a Babysitting Clinic (you must pre-register to attend) at the Medical Center Health and Wellness Center today from 9-2 at Chandler Park. 745-0942.
There is a Tribute to Whitney Houston at 7:30 p.m. at the UAW Hall at 712 Plum Springs Loop as part of the Martin Luther King Jr. Apollo Night (A Night at the Apollo). Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Call about tickets at BG Human Rights 782-7900 or the Housing Authority of BG 843-6071.
